No matter what watercraft you choose — canoe, kayak, or raft — this float experience is five miles in distance and will take approximately 2-4 hours. The Meramec River is a Class I (sometimes II) river that is suitable for all levels of floating experience and expertise.
The Meramec is a lazy, slow-moving river so Kayaks and Canoes may have a quicker go as you paddle downstream, while rafts tend to take a bit more time. When you arrive, all guests must sign waivers. At your departure time, all guests and watercraft will be loaded up at the River stop Store and transported via bus to the Sappington Bridge. Once there, you’ll be offloaded to begin your float back to the Meramec State Park, River stop Store.

In the event the float is cancelled by the concessionaire due to bad weather or high-water levels, a rain check will be issued good for one year from the cancelled float date no refunds. All watercraft cancellations require seven days from date and time.All cancellations must be greater than 7 days from your booking date and time less than 7 days from date and time of booking no refunds or rain checks will be issued. Fees apply for cancellation greater than 7 days from date and time $25.00 fee for each raft and $15.00 for each canoe or kayak.
Any watercraft cancellations made less than seven days prior to the float will be charged the entire cost of the watercraft rental no refunds or rain checks will be issued. No rain checks for any lodging or refunds, due to your float being canceled by concessionaires due to weather or high river levels.
STANDARD COMPANIES POLICY FOR FLOATING. If renting lodging motel or cabin and any issues arise at the campground for your friends or family no rain checks or refunds will be given as the campground is not part of the concessioner,
